completed his studies as Industrial Designer in Boston, US, at Massachusetts College of Art in 2002, winning the Student Merit Award.
After working for high profile design companies in the US for 5 years, he taught Design at Raffles Education Corporation in Shanghai and in Mumbai.
Together with a handful of former students, Samvit and his brother Rishi started LiGHT-FiSH in 2009 in Mumbai.
In 2010 LiGHT-FiSH moved to Auroville. "With more space to work, we purchased equipment and developed skills in working with glass, metal, wood, resins and plastics." Over the last 6 years their competencies in design and development brought on bigger and more challenging projects.
With the recent acquisition of their 4 axis CNC and 3D printing machinery they now offer rapid prototyping as a new service.
